NAIC Welcomes Winona Butler as Our Newest Board Member
The Northwest American Indian Coalition (NAIC) is proud to welcome Winona Butler as the newest member of our Board of Directors. Winona brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a deep commitment to Indigenous community empowerment, cultural preservation, and environmental justice.
As a respected advocate for Native sovereignty and traditional ecological knowledge, Winona has worked extensively to protect sacred lands, revitalize cultural traditions, and uplift Indigenous voices in decision-making spaces. Her background in community organizing and policy advocacy makes her a powerful addition to NAIC as we continue to advance our mission.
Winona’s leadership will be instrumental in supporting our programs, including initiatives focused on food sovereignty, land protection, and intergenerational healing. Her vision aligns with NAIC’s commitment to ensuring that future generations remain connected to their ancestral lands, traditions, and ways of life.
We are honored to have Winona join us and look forward to the impact she will make. Please join us in welcoming her to the NAIC Board!
